This small house alteration project involved reconfiguring the existing footprint of the house. The garden space was already small so the new works did not involve increasing the floor area of the house. A new bathroom and re-planned kitchen and living spaces were inserted within the existing building envelope. A better connection between the internal and external spaces was an important part of the design.
